I found nothing in this book that I hadn't figured out on my own (except for how to make oil pastels - why would anyone want to do that?), and most of the art was dreadfully primitive (childish even) - the type of art that keeps many in the art worl. Unlike oil paints and chalk pastels, this is a medium many instructors in art schools just do not have a handle on technically, so this book fills a real gap.
