Excited for another Cressida Cowell series! Allison Kuta My 11yo 6th grader is an avid reader. Here is her review:--- "Xar and Wish don't fit in. Xar is a mischievous Wizard Prince with no magic, but he's intent on getting some by stealing it from a witch - the worst magical creature to ever walk the Earth! And Wish is a Warrier Princess who is is weak, plain and kinda unusual. 'It's ok' he muttered 'but not my favorite!' he added hastily trying to encourage the batty parent while not encouraging a sudden supply of more books in the series. I was flabbergasted. This was the same author who wrote a series that they adored!So I read th. Awesome. That's the best word I can come up with. There's always something magical whimsy and quirk do to a story. Ms. Cowell as once again mastered the art of this in a riveting new novel/beginning of a new series that was a heck of a one-sit-read for me.
