You want details, read the book.What I will say is that it was so stinking good to see Peri Jean Mace back in her old stomping grounds of Gaslight City, I could hardly stand it. I knew that I missed her old group of friends, but I didn't realize just how much until Rainey, Tubby, and Hannah came back into the picture. Hell, I'd even missed stupid ol' Dean and the Six Gun Revolutionaries!I've read everything Catie Rhodes has written and come to expect certain things from her books—mystical image. "Fast paced thrilling story!" according to Lee Broom. Very good book! The Peri Jean Mace series is a thrill a minuteand this one, Dead End, is a fast paced story that you can't put down. Not only can Peri Jean see ghosts, she can do some serious fighting with her magic. This book is full of suspense, with her friend possessed by a soul-sucking monster, and Peri Jean has to try to rescue her. It's spooky the amount of evil that Peri Jean comes in contact with, but she is strong and is up to the task. There are so many twists and unusual things that happen in this book, it's quite the tale, and I couldn't stop reading until I found out what happened with Peri Jean and those sh.
