This book presented several opportunities to discuss relationship issues with my 8 year old boy. The boy in the story is prodded into doing gross things by his friends. In this story it's eating worms. It's gross, but by the end the boy grows accustomed to it and so did. Eclectrically Sane said Still Entertaining. My son really enjoyed the book and as a bonafide picky eater, I think it was pretty eye-opening for him as well. He's actually relented slightly into trying out new foods and I think he's really just bracing himself for just in case we throw in some new proteins for him to try, inspired by the book. Still a childhood favorite apparently
