Exactly what I wanted with lots of detail V Mar I just finished reading the Ultimate Guide to Business Process Management. It's a no nonsense, straightforward book and I would agree with others that it's well written and full of detail.Setting up BPM capability can be difficult and I liked this book because it literally gives you the entire blueprint on how to implement BPM from scratch - and it assumes you have no prior knowledge either. It also provides a short history of BPM and comes with a dictionary and practice exam at the back. One thing the author talks about is the use of BPM in larger organization. Focuses on the organisational aspect and fails to explain what the day to day work looks like Disclaimer: I am not a BPM professional.To be honest this book has left a mixed impression on me. I expected it to provide me with a clear idea of the kind of work a BPM professional peforms but it instead focused on explaining how a BPM initative can be introduced in the company. To be fair, it does a great job there. It goes in the great detail on how to organize the process, which people to hire and how to get political leverage to introduce BPM into an Enterprise company.
