Just a small glimpse into what makes them the way they are and their experiences was very interesting. This book combined with the tv show makes me feel as though I've known them for a lifetime. I don't think most people really understand just how difficult it would be to live this kind of a lifestyleyou'd literally have to work you butt off every day just to keep the cabin warm and the family fed. This lifestyle is not at all for the faint of heartor mind. This guy is a true outdoorsman and a "learned" master at staying alive and relatively comfortable.
