A fan of Stephen King - but not a fan of this book. Slow, not that interesting, and an over-the-top finish HeathCliff I was reading this with mild surprise, as I found myself somewhat disinterested - reading it because of pre-established love for King - but if it was not his book, I would have stopped. But I plodded along. I mean, I love King's writing, his are the ony books that I wait for, and buy,automatically - so there was always, or often, some. "Such a Good Story!" according to W.S. Walcott. Wow! I can't even begin to tell how enjoyable Revival is. Stephen King is hit or miss for me. I enjoy a handful of his novels, but I don't like more than a handful. That said, I still read him a few times a year. In general, I don't find King compulsively readable. I usually find him wordy and tedious, an I usually give up long before
