Although he does repeat certain phrases or traits about his characters it's always at a place in the story that needs so I don't forget! His grammar is sometimes hard to put up with and he words things very simply but that's part of his charm. Simple but deep ch. Gift-recipient would likely have given 5 stars had 63 pages not been missing & unable to secure replacement for defective book To be clear: the story/author itself is NOT the issue! Bought this as a gift for someone that loves this series and he was excited to receive this- until he discovered 63 missing pages after investing himself in a bit more than half the novel!
