Actually good R B I always used to read Cusslers novels but a few years ago I read one that put me off. As I recall it was too funny for me as I prefer my novels to be somewhat serious. I thought nitehawk was a good balance of humor and serious. It was more like the Cussler books of old. I gave it five stars because it has a great plot, very good character development and was hard to put down
