"Mrk's Story" according to Paul Minehardt. Seems to follow the scripture fairly well and provides an added colorfulness to the story. It is well written and easy to read.
He gives full attention to fictionalized details, such as Marks leadership of the church in Alexandria and his healing of an injured man. Deans delivery of this fictionalized biblical narrative gives an authentic sense of the culture of that time. Even though the story doesnt adhere to the biblical accounts, Dean provides a seamless narration. G.D.W. With poignancy he captures the eager spirit of the young apostle who offers to document Jesuss and the disciples travels if he can only go with them.
