Twists kept me guessing til the dial page! Baldacci holds your interest beginning to end. He put in a lot of characters many of whom were red herrings. This was a love/hate thing for me as they were fun distractions but didn't do much to advancing the plot and were confusing. On the other hand, that was undoubtedly their purpose. I could have done without a few of them. That said, I still enjoyed Hour Game lot and I highly recommend it.It's great Baldacci!. HOUR after hour after hour yawn Amazon Customer I still haven't finished this book. I am forcing myself to continue to the end. I'm about 3/4 there and it's been a struggle all the way. For having the great reputation Mr. Baldacci does as an author, I find this book surprising. Surprisingly simplistic and containing so much beginning writer rhetoric it's making me nuts. Far too many instances of a statement by one character, only to have a different character immediately
