Great book on an obscure subject Calliegirl Not many people know about the Chicago 1893 World's Fair, unless one has read the "Devil in the white City" a novel about the building of this massive undertaking and the infamous H.H.Holmes who is known as the very "First" serial killer in U.S. history. Both of these books are excellant. This book has great photo's that were taken during the fair, (a first in history) and a good narrative of how and why the fair was constructed. The photo's really bring one back to that time period,it is one thing to read about what it looked like and another to ACTUALLY see for yourself throu.
