"great" according to Allie C. Peed III. Stunning visuals, great book. "I love Luc Besson's movies" according to Claude Fethiere. I love Luc Besson's movies, so I couldn't wait to get this book. The artwork is absolutely amazing. Although it is an "art of" book, I am a sucker for behind the scene photos, drawings, and storyboards. I wish they printed the text in black. The light gray printing made the book difficult to read.. Basically this book felt like a collection of screencaps and uninspired sketches from the Disappointing. Saw the movie and later went through this book for more info on the designs used and such. The book completely omits all of the human military (all of whom are central figures in the story) and didn't show any part of the most interesting space ship in the whole movie (refugee ship at the end). Basically this book felt like a collection of screencaps and uninspired sketches from the movie TRAILER that was cobble together by someone who never saw the film ,,, and then imagined what it was like. Save your money and rebuy The Fifth Element.
