AP World History Review I thoroughly enjoyed this novel because it gave me an opportunity to learn more about medieval times in a way that was entertaining and fun to read. Specifically, the suspense really made me want to keep reading. I also really liked Crichton's writing style throughout the story and the way he kept details about the story hidden from the reader throughout it. For example, at the beginning, it opens with a couple who found a man on the side of the road and gives him a very mysterious background. This left me wanting to find out mor. I love the blend of history and Sci-Fi. I remember reading this and playing the pc game-Timeline-and loved them both. The movienot so much. I still read this book over and over, simply because I think this is one of his best novels.I highly recommend to any Chrichton fans.
