"Disjointed and boring" according to Amazon Customer. Poor writing and a story line that has been done dozens of times. The characters are not developed and the chopped writing style leaves you wanting more. Not up to par and not worth the read.. "feel a great sympathy to General Yershov" according to Mikio Miyaki. “Dark Zone” illustrates a good example of right prevailed and of good systems worked. Op-Center makes strenuous efforts to obstruct a plan intended to produce a threat to a powder keg region. The story begins with an assassination of a former Ukrainian female spy. Her throat is slashed by a sharpened edge of an Amex card, while she jogs along the East River. Concurrently, Op-Center realize. Disappointing I have always loved the Op-Center series. I was excited when I saw that there was a new book out in the series and immediately bought it.How I miss Tom Clancy though. I'm disappointed in the quality of this story. It was pretty bland. There seemed to be no thrill of the hunt, no real tension of the crisis and no real hero to step up to provide a calm, gentle voice or reason and strength to the "crisis
