Not at all for the thin skinned. Wow The Onion as usual leaves no group untouched. If you are easily offended you will NOT be happy with this book! However, if you can see this book for what it is humor (and a great deal of it very off-color) you will love it. If you are familiar with the Onion online, then you'll know exactly what to expect. If you buy it, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did, but be warned there are no taboos in terms of this book. Thanks for taking the time to read my review.. I am still laughing today I love this book, and I have loved the Onion's version of satire for a very long time. Whenever I need a laugh, I go to their website.This book is built like an encyclopedia, but you have to remember it is satire. Everything in it meant to be a joke. Often, the writers combine some real, but put a twist on it. It is their specific brand of humor, which means you either appreciate and get it or it is not for you.I did not read this book from start to finish. Instead, I open up to random pages and just read what t. Angelina Mattioda said Good but very time intensive to read through. I bought this for a christmas exchange. It didn't really make a hit. I thought it was something I would keep for myself if I liked it enough but decided to put it in the exchange.
