Exceeded my expectations Susan Y. Since I got a used library copy, I was kind of hoping to get the original version instead of the re-written one, but it was the newer one. I have no idea what the difference is, but this was a really good book. My kids just love the idea of it, so it is shortly going to be. "A Microscape in a Literary World" according to N. Bryan. I knew this was one of Sir Pterry's earliest books, so I didn't expect the level of sophistication that his later stories show. The story is cute and has moments of brilliance - not the least of which is trying to imagine an entire world existing in a carpet. Somehow, that. A cute and inventive story!
