The BBC dramatization of La Carre's classic is well done, however I found myself wanting the entire novel in an unabridged format instead of the made-for-radio abridged version presented. (thus three stars instead of five).The story, set late in America's role in Indochina, in 1975, presents a compelling view of the espionage business through Le Carre's studied pen.
