Just when I thought I'd worked it all out nicely - BAM - all change!So, with their babysitter cancelling on them, Anne and Marco leave their baby, Cora, at home whilst they "pop" next door for a dinner party. It'll be fine - they have the baby monitor with them and they go to check on her every half hour and they're only next door. What can possibly go wrong?Q. Endless twists This was one of the best reads of the year for me. I'm thrilled that I added this novel to my reading list.At first, I was a little concerned about the pace of the story because the plot reached a peak before the half way point. Then, the delightful twists and turns started a roller coaster ride of suspense - ending in a jaw-dropping, satisfying conclusion. I love it when an antagonist gets what's coming. Page turner Susie The intrigue started at the beginning of the story and never let up. It was hard to put down. Every psychological thriller is promoted as having twists and turns, which are often not as surprising as described. This one really did, right up to the last page. I rarely give a book 5 stars but I'd give this one 4.5 if I could.
