Amazon Customer said Great and refreshing read. It's a fast read that I really enjoyed. His prose is something that I really liked. This book did something that I wish every sci-fi book could- flesh out secondary characters more than cardboard cutouts, and not explain why the riles of this universe are the way they are. Eli was fun to read, and had some great quips, but not too much. As one last thing, it's su. A fantastic first novel. alogie A really great read. Dan does a great job of fleshing out characters and the back story/universe without it impacting the pacing of the book. There are some funny moments throughout the story, without which it may have been too dark, so that was a nice balance. The ending of the book certainly leaves the door open for a sequel or two, and I connected with the cha. Fantastic Read Zach Whittle Dan Moren absolutely knocks it out of the park with his first published novel. It's not easy to build a Sci-Fi universe that doesn't confuse the reader and destroy the immersion, but Dan succeeds. If anything about space, war, or secret missions excites you, then I doubt you'll be disappointed in this adventure.
