Simplest Agile Book on the Planet Dan E. I bought this book as a job aid to learn the elements of Agile in a small amount of time. I bought a separate book prior to this that was just too much to digest. I was pleased to have found and consumed this book in just about 30 minutes and got a solid understanding of Agile project management. Small enough to fit in my pocket, this is my go-to resource so I know what's going on on our projects. Simple, complete, and to the point. This is the clif-notes of Agile.. For 99 cents, go for it. Jim Long for a pamphlet but short for a book, this is a helpful introduction to scrum. It is clearly-written, well-organized, and includes a little gentle humor. This item is specifically targeted to individuals (like me until now) with little or no prior knowledge of scrum/Agile. It is probably true, as some negative reviewers claim, that the same information is available for free on the Web, but I find it helpful to have it in one place. In my view you can't go wrong for 99 cents for Kindle, but $8.96 for paperback. Well distilled and nicely told One of the more drastic transitions at my current job was formally adapting Scrum in place of an informal, best-effort approach we used before. This book helped me grasp what Scrum is really about in less than an hour. There is no filler here, no anecdotes nor reiteration. Pure content, well distilled. Just what I needed. We have been trained more thoroughly since but it was this book which got me going.I wish more introductory books were like this one: skipping the waffle, delivering just the gist of the subject
