If you are starting off in retail or even if you are an experienced pro who's been around for several years you will learn quite a lot of tips and tricks from this book. This book will definitely help you but it will go past it's utility pretty soon. So read this book but don't expect this book to go into serious detail. Overall, my recommendation woul. "Got this book right before I started managing a big box retailer store" according to ZBlanchard. The book walks you through a lot of what should be done in retail. I felt like it was missing a huge section about what not to do in retail. It seems this is more of what you should be looking for when you are going to work for a national retailer. Still, the book was very very helpful.. Great for basics, too general for experienced marketers K.
