Anne McCaffrey is best known for The Dragonriders of Pern, but her loose Talents series about superpsychics has been running almost as long. McCaffrey specializes in feel-good adventure SF, full of romance, warm friendships, and hearty meals. It all makes for an agreeable, lightweight read. While most people think his talent needs careful conservation, Peter has already teleported supplies to the moon and has secret plans for Mars, the asteroids, and the moons of Jupiter. McCaffrey is as incredible an author as always She's a Grandmaster of Science Fiction, it's a sci-fi book, of course it's great. She builds on the world she created in the previous "Pegasus" books while continuing to provide the origin story of the "Talents" in her "Tower and Hive" series. Getting to see two sides of the same incredible world set hundreds of years (and light years) apart is pretty cool, as is watching the main characters grow up. Tirla, introduced in the previous novel, is sadly not as c. The first book of a GREAT SERIES on what it could be like to explore space The first of a series of books portraying the use of the telekinetic powers to help the worlds over populating problem and to help with many of Natures many nature storms and of the other troubles of the planet Earth. From a small group of special people, the world is able to expand into the stars.Anne McCaffrey wrote many science fiction books in her life that allowed people to think what it would be like if something different came into their lives, and how. Good read Excellent series for young readers. Also a very in Dearing group of characters on an epic scale of space exploration and the political of the mind.
