HRH said Reread power. We got these books when my daughter was three and she is now six. We've read them over and over and she still loves them. She can read them herself now. Great characters. In fact tonight we had toast "with a great deal of butter on it" -just the way Mercy Watson likes it-with our soup.. It's a great book! We loved this book! Mercy is a funny character. She loves toast with a great deal of butter on it. This is funny because she is a pig and toast is the only thing she thinks about. If you want to give your kids a taste of literary fiction, this is a good place to start. My sons adore Captain Underpants and tons of books in that genre.
