A New Way To Enter the Sea of Talmud This is the first audio version of a volume of Rabbi Adin Even-Israel (Steinsaltz)'s fine, accessible English language version of the Talmud. It's thus a welcome addition to the ways to step a foot into the sea of the Talmud. Much of the audio material about the Talmud is conveyed in Yeshivish, a language related to English, but not understandable to the average English speaker. This audio version is a faith. "Excellent" according to Michael. My Talmud studies began and ended in middle school with Baba Metziah. I have two fine sets of Talmud given to me by father, alav hashalom they are in proud display at my home but are almost never opened. I happened across this recording and thought that it would be something I could listen to in rotation with my audible books.It is very well done.
