"Good but not great" according to L. E. Castro. I'm reading all the Discworld novels and this script is, so far, my least favorite. A failed wizard is conscripted to help a distant kingdom in the throes of political duress. While the story is, as usual for Terry Pratchett, inventive and amusing, the work is quite short and does not allow for the usual developmen. May You Read Interesting Times Because of its references to East Asian culture, I gave this to numerous professors in college because I studied Japanese language and culture (although you will find that Chinese culture is the primary reference point for this book). Probably none of them appreciated it but, as I am socially awkward and struggle w. Read and Re-read this book CJ I'm a big fan of Terry Pratchett, and INTERESTING TIMES is one of my favorites. I've read it at least a dozen times now, though my preference is honestly the audio book because the narrator is a genius. I literally laugh out loud.
