"I thoroughly enjoyed this educational look at the possibility of life elsewhere in the universe" according to Just Me. With a minor in Astronomy, I was delighted to be offered an advance copy of this book. Preston takes a detailed look at the topic, taking a broad view, from how life developed on Earth, what life may or may not require, the possibilities for life in our solar system or beyond, and the possibility of humankind traveling farther tha. Not enough on tardigrades! Not terrible but not particularly good. If this is a subject that has interested you for awhile, you are probably familiar with 90% of it. If you're new to this concept, your learn some stuff but you will also be bored by its repetitiveness. I was greatly disappointed in the section dealing with "water bears," aka tardigrades. The. You finish the book much wiser than when you started - recommended. Peter Hillier Mrs Preston has a lot to say and is very insightful in her discussions.
