Sad. Just sad. Like a lot of teenage males I thought Bobbie Brown was impossibly beautiful in the late 80's and early 90's, and she was. Arguably prettier than Pamela Anderson (for whatever it's worth). I mention Anderson because a good deal of this book centers around Tommy Lee & Anderson. It is this more than anything else that I found to be sad. Brown certainly delves into her childhood and teen years, but after reading this book I couldn't help but think that most of her adult existence has centered around her chaotic relationship with Tommy Lee. Lee is a known womanizer and abuser of women, yet I still got the feeling that if he tried hard enough (. It started with a video, and went downhill from there. Sure, we all saw the Warrant video and remember when Janie Lane married the hot babe on the video. Then, the next 30 years passed and like hollywood,. nothing ever is as good as it seems on the billboard. Another demonstration why none of the members of Motley Crue should be alive today, with Bobbie dating and living with Tommy Lee for a a time, her addiction to drugs, amazing opportunities wasted, including a key roll in a Spielberg movie, due to same, and her ultimate recovery.
