When getting there was more than half the fun! Having been an antique dealer, I sold a number of those handsome old steamer trunks. The ones that still had a few hotel labels affixed always commanded a premium. Seeing those old labels couldn't help but conjure up thoughts of the golden age of the passenger liner and all that mode of transit entailed. Unfortunately, those were not my own personal recollections as I am a couple of generations removed from such experiences. Barring the last chapter, of course, the whole Titanic story drew further attention to that memorable and romantic method of travel.
