I've been introduced to quite a few through the M.O.M.S. group at our church, Facebook moms' groups and recommendations from friends. I've read and enjoyed a few, and I've enjoyed the conversation that a few a them spurred in my groups. But I tire of their step-by-step messages of how to fix this and do that better. I tire of their subtle guilt-inducing yet pandering and condescendingly sugary message, as if I am a tender thing to be coddled while a list of my failings is laid before me. I know they mean well, and some of them even contain the truthsomewhere. While . A Must Read for Christian Parents!! Candice K. Such a great book! As a mom to three small children (3 boys, 3 and under), parenting can be hard! Like cry in my milk, angry momma, I can't do this anymore hard! My oldest is a strong willed little man, just like his momma. I grew up in a house where yelling and losing your temper was just the status quo. I vowed that wouldn't be me as a parent, but as things became more difficult, more real, I found it was easier said than done. I knew I had to do something, but didn't know what. Then I heard about this book on the God Centered Mom podcast (also awesome! ) and thought I would give it a try. All I can say is. jasmene jarrett said To the rescue!. The perspective shift you need to rescue your family from well you.My husband and I both just finished reading this and it has changed our family! Wendy and Amber give you practice ways to apply the biblical knowledge you already have and inject that into the attitudes and choices you make in the way you respond when parenting.I am so thankful for this book!I would look to hear a few chapters from their husbands for husbands as well
