Really Cool, In-Depth Story of The Pony Express I breezed through this history, and found it amazing the feats that they were able to achieve in such a short time to create the Pony Express. Great for business owners looking at how to start a company right, and history buffs who find this really interesting.. Five Stars great read!. Facts, facts and more facts. I absolutely adore anything to do with horses, and thought that this book would hold my interest from the first page. It was though a disappointment, as all it is, is facts. How long it took from one place to another, no interesting stories about the riders or their horses. One of my favourite films of all time is Hidalgo, and apparently he was a pony express rider (not a figment of a film makers imagination), so it would have been much more interesting,had Mr Bradley written it with more information of the riders, the horses, the stage personnel etc, than just page after page of facts, figures and times.
