Spy craft for him is always a sordid affair, relying more on manipulating men and women otherwise innocent of geopolitics instead of guns, tanks, missiles, or Q Branch gadget. Beautifully written and spoken Guy S. Michael Not only is John le Carre a master of the spy novel, but again he proves in this CD version that he is a master of reading his spy novels.
