Lecoq is the real deal. It has a place on my "favorites" bookshelf, where I go when I need inspiration. Lots of great exercises. Lots of great ideas.. Some Guy said Great for Teachers and Students. Superb text. Worked out of this book, page by page with 10 college theatre students. Highly recommend it for academic use and for personal reading. Very solid text helpful in gaining a strong foundation in movement theatre that is rapidly overtaking the mainstream. Many of LeCoq's ideas are visible everywhere in the NY theatre. Pig Iron Theatre Company is a great example of a group of LeCoq trained performers, and is also a resource for learning more, if you a. Itchee Feet said great work by a master.
