"Alas, there is no "method" given" according to Amazon Customer. Mr. Kail doesn't provide a "method" for playing the concertina. For example, when does one play the key of C with their left hand or their right? Some notes are a difficult reach for the ring and pinky fingers. What is the best way to reach these notes? Finger substitutions are used in playing the piano and organ. Similarly, I was hoping for more useful fingering method for the concertina.. Not that clear Boxermom I thought it would be more simplistic, and address the confusion beginners have. You truly can't teach yourself .I thought it would be more like Concertina for Dummies. I find the fingering charts difficult just for basic scales. I have a music back ground and I was lost.. Five Stars Very helpful.
