Amazon reviewer said Good historical perspective. I like the historical perspective provided, but I was looking for more of a scripture by scripture type of account. That's not how this book is handled. More of summaries.. Not what I expected. I expected a more in soulo Not what I expected. I expected a more in depth history of the bible and not necessarily the stories, but where they came from.
