Egri does an amazing job breaking down how to make characters drive your story, and his principles are self-evident in that you'll immediately recognize them at work in all great stories that you've read and watched.Some of the key concepts he covers in this book are- How to create your story's PREMISE. SO many stories lack this and, as a result, feel empty and hollow (and you often don't know why).- How to craft your pivotal character--the charact. "One Star" according to A. Tebeau. Terrible, terrible printing. I'm returning this so I can buy another edition.. Kindle Edition Badly formatted The information in the book is worth reading, however, in the Kindle edition, there are many, many formatting errors. There are some sentences without beginnings and some without endings. There are a lot of words spelled incorrectly and paragraphs that seemingly just end in mid sentence, but actually continue in the next paragraph. Skip the Kindle and buy the print version.
