very good short story collection for Majipoor fans Very good short story collection by a grand master of science-fiction ! The stories go back and forth from the distant past to a more mundane and yet altogether magical present. There are only two are low key entries, yet very entertaining. Most others are typically silverbergian with a touch of myth, epic and human depth. It was a very nice journey altogether, much better than the second Majipoor trilogy, and closer to the Magic of the first Majipoor Chronicles. Personal Stories and Adventures of the Citizens of Majipoor Lyn Williams This is one of my favorite books. This one has several of the background stories for several of the colorful characters of Majipoor. It brings this incredible planet and its inhabitants to life.I love the series and I've read all of the books several times. I'm so glad they finally released them in the Kindle editions. Now I can take them with me everywhere.. A masterful effort by a true master! Mr. Silverberg does it like nobody else can! His imagination is limitless. I was completely absorbed in the stories, and became "friends" with several of the characters.
