DESCRIPTION:
Good start. R. Ochoa I was looking for a book that would give me an overview of knowledge I needed for a new startup I'm pursuing. This one gave me the confidence I needed to proceed. It is not the last book you'll need but is a great first book. Once you've read this book, move on to some detailed books in market research, marketing, read on the use the Wave software for your bookkeeping, etc. I'd also watch some of the videos on YouTube like Sam Altmans Lecture 1. I'm glad I started with this book though. Not complete but a good start. Download the sample and look at the tabl. Effective book This book does what it says on the cover: good starting advice, advice on how to think about things in a way that avoids pitfalls and cultivates a realistic view of starting a business.. "Exactly what was needed." according to D. Workman. Exactly what was needed. Sure it's just a basics book but the information contained definitely gets you a start on your business journey
