seems to be a good way to learn e I've recently started learning to play the saxophone. Multiple people said the Rubank Method was the method I should be using, so I picked up this book. As a learner, I can't really compare it too well to anything else out there.I will say, however, that I'm having a somewhat-difficult time reading the music.I don't know if it's just because I'm unfamiliar with the notation, or if there's actually something wrong with the printing But it's hard to make o. You will not come across inane children's tunes as you learn to play. no 'Hot Cross Buns,' "Go Tell Aunt Rhody," "Twinkle, Twinkle,' which is the last thing a budding jazz or classical musician needs. The book contains a fantastic pull-out finger chart as well. There is no written instruction in the book.. Five Stars PERFECT
