However, the language used is far more memorable, the lead character more sympathetic, and the story shaped to fit a different genre. This means that it ends on a far less tragic note, and also that it secures its place in history as one of Shakespeare's masterpieces. Essentially, it is a story of failed revenge, love, and injustice. As to the edition itself, I found it to be greatly helpful in understandi. Well, I can only guess that folks who like this book haven't seen No Fear Shakespeare. Many of this book's "translated" lines are so close to the original that they don't add to your understanding of the play.
