thekid06 said Nothing New But Pretty.. I meanit's a pretty book. I wouldn't recommend for informational purposes. Just a repeat of the same stories and facts we've all heard before. A lot of speculation in the "last years" part of the book. The photos are nice to look at. Ok book overall.. "The best book on Prince that I've read" according to Maggie Reynolds. The best book on Prince that I've read; it's completely updated to April 21st. A very fair book that doesn't make him out to be a saint but doesn't crucify him like Possessed (whose author was involved in a lawsuit with him). I loved the backstories on his recordings and, while I've seen some before, the pictures were great. My only complaint is that it's very large like a coffee. "Five Stars" according to K. Thomas. Very detailed book of Prince's life and career with great photos!
