Not a book for PMP Certification Kevin Barretto There is a lot of chapters that do not add value to the PMP examination. I picked up the book to do EMV and EVA the week before my exam date for a day and chose not to go back to it. If you want to learn Project selection methods to calculate Present and Future values and other financial terms, please refer to a Financial Accounting book rather than this book.The book is filled with errors. Some of the facts are misleading. I was shocked as I read EMV problems where in a make-buy decision analysis all of the reference is to select the highest . Dinah said Passed my math based exam with ease.. Excellent study guide full of tip, and hints to prepare for any math based exam. I passed the formidable PMI-SP (Project Management Institute Scheduling Professional) exam with ease after reading this book and working the sample problems.. "Recommend to read with caution" according to Amazon Customer. Good math refresher. The book has a good number of math errors in sample questions section and inconsistencies with PMBOOK fifth edition (e.g. critical path method calculations) . CD was useless, it has bugs and math errors. However, I would still recommend it as a good PMP math summary.
