Fancy said Good music. These are great to work with, some easier than others, some difficult. There's a 'lesson' on the page before each selection that's very helpful. Also a complete piano score is included, along with the play along CD. Each track on the CD features a solo flute and then the accompaniment only. Although you only get 8 pieces, they are very nice.. Suzanne said Excellent for self-taught flutist!. I am an adult flute student and don't have a teacher. This book is wonderful for someone like me, because each piece is preceded by a lesson about the upcoming piece, practice passages, and technique discussion. The pieces are challenging, but not impossible. I do wish the CD offered a slower practice track. Instead, there is only a full-speed track with a professional flutist playing, and then a full-speed performance track. "Love it!" according to Chad E. Pickeral. I absolutely love it! I have only played the first song. However, so far I am very impressed. I don't necessarily need the instruction (I've been playing inconsistently for over 6 yrs), but it is nice to have since I didn't have a private teacher but for one year and missed a lot of the instruction that can come with that.
