Quite Interesting Book Although I really enjoyed the book, I must inform that it is not a complete guide to port management as its title suggests. In this regard, I did not see any deeper reference to ERP systems used in port management, this topic being of great interest to me.At any rate, each chapter of the book is full of comprehensive bibliographical references that might help readers to carrying out further studies as for specific topics. In addition, every item of information supplied along the book is supported by those references. In this conn. "This book arrived in time for my course, it" according to B Harwell. This book arrived in time for my course, it is very informative and I'm able to cross reference it other course work. Thanks Amazon!. Take the Book in Context Lynn This book is a basic introduction to the state-of-the-art in current maritime logistics. The general reader can easily follow the chapters and understand how the maritime industry works on a number of different levels. That said, the chapters are academic in approach, but the content is relevant and useful. I found it very inforamtive and interesting. It brought me up to date quickly and has made me somewhat conversant, and certainly more aware of this needed industry.
