Some Wonderfully Frank Talk of Religion and a Hell of a Lot More I was overwhelmed by the amount of material in this edition. The author would not allow it to be published until after his demise as he launches a full-blown attack on the literal interpretation of the BIBLE and people who take it all as God's own truth. He's ruthless and often hilarious in the actual "Letters " section, which is a small part of this tome. Also included are his takes on what Methusela. Just what I needed This book was such a relief to read. As a former second generation fundamentalist christian, I have had a lot of grief over whether or not I made the right decision in walking away. There were just so many things about the sect that I couldn't seem to wrap my mind around and reading this book was like reading something I wrote. So many things were wrapped up in my mind and Mark really had a way of say. Not the whole book This "Letters from the Earth" is only "Letters from the Earth" itself.
