It gives very simple explanations for the concepts and it does not cover a lot, but it was really good for my students to use as an introduction to the content or as a review. I found the section on orbitals really helpful in helping them to learn the orbital shapes and to learn to do the electron configurations. (Also I have many students who are below grade level, and the coloring is something they can master while still "doing Chemistry".. Great refresher of basics TPepper Loving this book. I love to color and It has been over 20 years since I took chemistry and I don't remember much. I need a refresher so I can prep to take my test for my chemistry teaching credential. It is great for helping me remember the basic before I get into more complicated stoichiometry and such.
