I have read two of Klempner's novels now, and will certainly read everything he has written I especially liked this novel because I genuinely liked to protagonist, and he lives in a lighthouse in North Carolina (which sounds close to heaven to me!). The characters are full and well-drawn, the story is compelling, and Klempner's building of suspense is masterful.. Miss Rose said Fogbound review. I enjoyed this book and it might have been better if Mr Klempner had gone a little deeper into some of the cliffhanger parts of the book. Toward the ending it seemed like he just got tired of writing. Overall, a good storyline which could have used more detail in some areas.. S. Davis said I really enjoyed this book.
