DESCRIPTION:

Terry L. Tyson said Nikola Tesla, Mark Twain and Their Giant Robot Pals. "Five Fists of Science" is another fine example of "steam punk" graphic novels or comics in which history is not only revised but turned on its head and spun around a few times. It is also another example of the fine and very tight writing of Matt Fraction, a name that will no doubt be associated with innovative story telling in comics for many years to come. The story line is hard to pin down b. "This book was good but it felt like it could have been better" according to Me. This book was good but it felt like it could have been better. I love comics and i love history so this was right up my alley but after reading and reading this book it just seemed to be lacking something that would set it apart. It wasn't a disappointment but with a talent like Matt Fraction. i guess I had my expectations set a little too high.. Enrique C. Acosta said I so wanted to like this. His work on Sex Criminals and hawkeye. I so wanted to like this. His work on Sex Criminals and Hawkeye is so fantastic. But, this is nothing more than a fetid turd that refuses to flush. No character development, no pacing, and very little sense. When we fist meet Tesla he's a masked vigilante, which is abandoned when Twain comes up with a plan to trick people into peace, and thenstuff happensfor reasons.Oh and Edison is evil. Why?

So, what happened? Only now can the tale be told — in which Twain and Tesla collided with Edison and Morgan, an evil science cabal merging the Black Arts and the Industrial Age. True story: in 1899, Mark Twain and Nikola Tesla decided to end war forever. Turn of the century New York City sets the stage for a titanic battle over the very fate of mankind. With Twain's connections and Tesla's inventions, they went into business selling world peace. Now back in print, this new edition of the steampunk classic features new cover art by artists Steven Sanders.
