Loved all of the stories about how Bill became The Science Guy I'm a huge fan of Bill and read both of his previous books. What makes me loves this book most is that it has so many great stories about Bill's childhood and even his years as a stand up comedian. It was so fun to read about how he became Bill Nye the Science guy. Highly recommended.. "How Bill Became BILL BILL BILL" according to annagopi. I think my favorite part of this is how Bill talks about his background as a boy scout, as a mechanical engineer, as a standup comedian—basically talking about how he got to where he is now, how he became this incredibly effective (and funny!) science educator and advocate for nerds everywhere. I mean, he created an entire generation of people who think science can be interesting and fun and colorful. Being a nerd is cool, and Bill was a major part of that. Hearing how he got to where he is now was awesome to read.. Bill Nye - very entertaining I love this book, it is a great read with lots of information on his past and how he grew the passion that he has for science. i watch many lectures and shows of his and can hear his voice in my head when I read this book.
