Jackie Connelly always writes a well developed plot. This one certainly had lots of twists and turns that kept Bosch and the reader guessing. The characters are always interesting. What I like about Bosch is his dedication to getting his guy and being willing to work outside the lines to do so. Now that often causes him a lot of trouble with politicians and command, and he often loses contact with those closest to him because of the tactics he uses. Maybe that just makes him more huma. A 13 year old murder, a deception inside a deception & corrupt money! Harry & Kiz get a strange call which leads to an even stranger meeting and proposal and prophet on a really strange convoluted which smells fishy. Harry just cannot wrap his mind around this offer, feeling in his mind that the wrong guy is taking a fall for a murder he didn't commit. It all falls together, but not really.
